Residing in Kansas City, I have been lucky enough to spend my life exploring, both physically around the globe and creatively with passions and endeavors.

This site is meant to rise to the challenge and share my eye’s perspective with stories from over the years and to dust off some photos captured from adventures that have never seen the light of day. Thus, comes the name ‘The Eye of the Tyler’. It is both a nod to my journey and a pun to a kick-ass song of course! Hopefully you will learn some ideas to help you on your own journey, or simply to just have a laugh.

So what can we learn from the photos above? Yes, that is correct… I am not normal. I like to do things my way and see where life takes me. I have a day job that pays the bills, but it is my life outside of work that keeps me going and keeps me living. You are never to old to let loose, cross something off your list, or act like a child if the moment feels right.

I do not want to be put in a box, nor do I want this blog to be. Listen, there are some great bloggers out there with glossy posts, delectable ads for you to click on, and set to a plan with a unified vision. This ain’t that. If THAT is what you are looking for, I will happily share some other options. I am a Gemini and I am all over the place. Such is life!
